About the Role

This is a key leadership role within manufacturing operations, responsible for drivingandnbsp;production engineering performance across a busy, bespoke engineering environment. You will be central to improving how we build engineered products; focusing onandnbsp;efficiency, manufacturability, and continuous improvement acrossandnbsp;assembly and test processes.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and develop the production engineering function across manufacturing

Improve workflows, routing, and shop floor efficiency in a bespoke production
environment

Drive design-for-manufacture (DFM) improvements with design engineers

Work closely with fabrication, assembly, and test teams to resolve production issues
Lead lean manufacturing and structured continuous improvement activity
Identify and deliver measurable improvements in cost, quality, and lead time
Support introduction of new products into production
Ensure compliance with Handamp;S and quality standards across operations

About You

Engineering background (mechanical, manufacturing, or industrial)
Proven experience in a fabrication or engineered-to-order manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of lean manufacturing in a low/medium volume production environment
Hands-on, practical engineering mindset
Experience with chillers, heat exchangers, HVAC, refrigeration or sheetmetal fabrication would be highly beneficial.
